You'll find that this week's email reads a bit like last week's and is reminiscent of the movie Groundhog Day! By the time you read this, this Friday's Harry Manx show will have Sold Out. There are therefore no tickets available at the door - zippo, zilch, nada, nuthin'.
May is motoring along, and we've had a great response to the current program - the big acts have been going down a treat, and there's more to come. Before the month is out, we'll have seen Sara Storer, Kate Miller-Heidke, Dog Trumpet, The Audreys and Geoff Turnbull & Asa Broomhall.
Next week we welcome back Geoff Turnbull, Asa Broomhall and Jerram Gabriel, our local contingent for the month, and terrific performers in their own right. Your support for local musos is essential, and while they may not have international profiles, they've got stories and talent to share with us all! The fact that these guys are performing at The SoundLounge ought to say something about their star quality and potential!!

Harry Manx (CANADA)
Harry Manx has been called an "essential link" between the music of East and West, creating musical short stories that wed the tradition of the Blues with the depth of classical Indian ragas. He has created a unique sound that is hard to forget and deliciously addictive to listen to.
Manx is a prolific artist, releasing seven albums in a six-year span with no signs of stopping. Blending Indian folk melodies with blues, a sprinkle of gospel, and compelling grooves, Manx's "mysticssippi" flavour is hard to resist, easy to digest and keeps audiences coming back for more.
Harry joins us in The SoundLounge for the very first time in 2008 featuring percussionist Yeshe.
